bootybarre® is a fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. bootybarre is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre. We focus on proper biomechanics for a safe and well structured class that can be modified for any fitness level.
PRENATAL PILATES AND BABY BOOTYBARRE
Vpilates in Montreal offers prenatal Pilates classes as well as mom and baby bootybarre classes.
Prenatal Pilates classes are either mat or Reformer depending on the sessions. In these classes the moms to be will work their mobility, strength and posture to be comfortable during their pregnancy, minimizing back pains and preparing for the new baby's arrival.
Baby bootybarre classes are special designed for new moms and their babys. These classes are a total body workout, with special focus on the abs. The baby stays in the carrier on the mom for about 80% of the class, and will be resting on the mom's mat during the abs and flexibility portion of the class.
*Moms must come with their personal baby carrier and baby blanket, as well as their baby's essentials.

This class is specially designed to enhance bone health and is safe for people who have osteoporosis or osteopenia. It is a full body workout that includes bone strengthening, strength and balance exercices while applying the pilates principles. This class will tone your arms, hips, back and abs while improving your bone health, posture, strength and balance.
