What is Pilates ?

With each training session, Pilates improves posture, flexibility and body awareness while working the whole body.
Some benefits of Pilates:
Improves range of motion and flexibility.
Reinforcement of abdominal muscles and trims the waist.
Aleviates or diminish chronic back pain.
Gives you more energy
Helps prevent bone density loss (osteoporosis).
VPilates barre & étirement offers Mat Pilates classes and Reformer Pilates classes.
Mat Pilates may be taught with or without small accessories (balls, foam roller, elastics and fitcircle). The whole body will be working every training session, every movement will be paired with proper breathing techniques, and is executed with precision and fluidity for optimal results.
Reformer Pilates offers a complete workout every session, and pushes the training further by allowing to resist or assist the movements with the apparatus. The exercises can then be customized to each participant’s needs, making it accessible to all fitness levels.
